ATA over Ethernet

Lecture by Alexander Færøy at SSLUG Meeting in Frederiksberg, Denmark on November 14, 2007.

This lecture was a short introduction to the ATA over Ethernet protocol. To make it easier to understand the AoE protocol, we compared it to the more widely deployed iSCSI protocol. We walked over the different tools that come with the system, how to use it on a GNU+Linux installation, and how people should think of security around the protocol.
